The Quarry

Kovadyarvi is a new landmark on the map of Russian non-metallic materials.

Since April 2025, our company has been extracting exclusive marble from the Kovadyarvi deposit, located in the south of the Republic of Karelia within the Pryazhinsky District, seven kilometers from the village of Kolatselga.

The quarry takes its name from nearby Lake Kovadyarvi. The depths of the site hold marble of exceptional diversity, with several layers identical to the stones of the famous Ruskeala Marble Canyon—now a major destination for international tourism.

The balanced reserves of the Kovadyarvi deposit in the Western Layer exceed 10,000,000 m³. Detailed exploration of the Eastern Layer, beyond the current boundaries, has identified additional gray marble reserves also exceeding 10,000,000 m³.

Extraction is performed using the diamond wire sawing method. This is one of the most effective techniques for obtaining high-quality monolithic blocks while minimizing environmental impact. The process is technologically advanced, requiring expert precision and modern equipment.

We believe that Kovadyarvi natural marble will open new horizons in construction and architecture, providing solutions that inspire for years to come.
