
Karelian marble has garnered interest both in Russia and abroad. Currently, work is underway in Pitkyaranta to establish a production complex.
As a reminder, the stone is quarried in the Pryazhinsky District and will be processed in Pitkyaranta, at the site of the former Ponsse service center.
— Just at the end of October, I signed an order to allocate an additional plot to the Prionezhskaya Mining Company for the construction of two workshops, including a sawing facility. We will provide assistance with electricity connection and gasification,” announced Artur Parfenchikov, Head of the Republic of Karelia.



Karelian marble is unique and offers a broad palette of at least ten different shades. The Governor is confident that such products will be in high demand among restorers, subway developers, builders, and other industry professionals.
